My Top Five Favorite Drugstore Makeup Products

 Maybelline Define-A-Lash Mascara

I have used this mascara since I was in high school and STILL can’t seem to give it up! To be completely honest I purchase this in bulk because I go through it so quickly. I place this mascara on top of a more expensive mascara, "Better Than Sex" by Too Faced. I just find that Define-A-Lash evenly separates my lashes while also giving a ton of volume! I have contemplated having false lashes, however why waste the money when this mascara can pretty much give you the same results! This mascara retails for $8.00 and you can find it at any drugstore!

NYX Retractable White Eyeliner

This white eyeliner is my best friend! I put it on the bottom waterline every single morning and it instantly wakes you up! For work, I tend to not wear a ton of makeup and go for a more natural look. White eyeliner and mascara are my go-to products for looking refreshed. If you are not completely sold on the white, try a nude color in NYX - either way they both add a little extra pop to your eyes! This eyeliner costs $6.00 and can also be found at any local drugstore!

Makeup Revolution Luxury Baking Banana Powder

I have used a ton of setting powders, but I always seem to go back to this one. The main reason I have switched from my high-end powders to this less expensive product is because it helps SO much with that annoying white flash. Do you ever take a picture with a flash and notice that your under eye area is completely white in the photo?! Wellllll, that has happened to me more than once. The raccoon eyes were definitely not attractive. Just place the powder on top of your concealer and let it “bake” for a few minutes. This will completely eliminate that problem because it is not entirely white/translucent like the other powders you may have used before. This product retails for $15.00 and can be purchased on Amazon!

Maybelline Fit Me! Matte + Poreless Foundation

I switch between this foundation and my Tarte foundation weekly! Now, foundations can be super tricky because it all depends on the person’s skintype. In my case, I tend to be on the oily side and prefer a foundation that is matte and long-lasting. If you are like me, then this foundation is the golden ticket! It is a full coverage foundation, but the best part is that it does not require me to use five oil pads after wearing it for a few hours! It costs $8.00 and can be purchased at any drugstore.

e.l.f. Face Primer

e.l.f has multiple primers, but the “Porless Primer” takes the cake! Having a primer is important because it sets your foundation and prevents it from seeping into your pores. Depending on what one you prefer, the brand also has a hydrating primer and blemish control primer. This retails for $12.00 and can also be purchased at any local drugstore!
